Allegations have been raised by F1 team principals about the relationship the couple have and the sensitive information they are both privy to.

Susie Wolff, who in being the managing director of F1 Academy reports directly to F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, is being accused of being briefed on confidential team principal discussions between her husband, Toto Wolff, and the other Formula 1 team principals. Information from these off-the-record meetings could then by shared to FOM (Formula One Management). The allegations also suggest that information could be shared from Susie to Toto as well, about FOM discussions behind closed doors.

BusinessF1 magazine has reported that a comment Wolff made in a recent team principal meeting sparked this series of complaints, as the information he brought up could only have come from FOM.

There has yet to be any comment made publicly from any of the rival team principals, but both Mercedes and Susie Wolff have made public statements in response to the allegations, denying any malpractice & stating the basis for these claims are "rooted in intimidatory and misogynistic behaviour".

Mercedes' statement echoes that of Susie Wolff, wholly rejecting the allegations and offering "full, prompt, transparent correspondence from the FIA Compliance Department". You can read their full statement here.

The statement from the FIA says: "The FIA is aware of media speculation centred on the allegation of information of a confidential nature being passed to an F1 team principal from a member of FOM personnel. The FIA Compliance Department is looking into the matter."
